"Rustbelt Legacy" is an investigation into the hidden histories and rich past of the area known as “The Rust Belt”. Stretching from upstate New York and running west through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois to the western shore of Lake Michigan, this was America’s industrial center. Cleveland, OH is often referred to as “ground zero” of both the Industrial Belt and the Rust Belt. Collaboration on this project began in 2009 with “Palimpsest” and continues with our current project: "Relocation", American Indian Relocation to Cleveland in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
